    (5) 1952 Signed Letters from Marshall Fields Top Executives.
    The letters were sort of a combined personal and professional appreciation for the long service that the great bookseller and longtime manager of the Marshall Field & Co., Book store, had given in her career upon her retirement.
    The letters had previously all been archivally mounted and bound, along with over a hundred plus such other letters, into a large book given to Rose Oller Harbaugh at her retirement party in Chicago, hosted by Bennett Cerf.
    The letters are a nice little vignette representing the upper echelon of Fields management in one of its many golden eras. They would make a great addition to virtually any display or collection.
