The soft cover book is approximately 11 1/4 x 8 1/4 inches, has 112 pages, and is in very good vintage condition.  The stapled binding is tight.  Covers have tanning, foxing, chipping, bends, and creasing.  Table of Contents has some damage.  Pages are in very good condition with tanning.  There are bends to the lower right corner of the pages as if the book had gotten caught being put into the shelf.  I did not see any dog ears, inscriptions, notes, or highlighter.
Profusely illustrated with drawings.
This is a good book with sound construction techniques for sewing.  It takes you past the basic sewing skills and leads you into beginning tailoring.  Not precisely 1950s design construction but does explain things like those left side plackets for zippers and has some great pockets.  How to alter your pattern.  And, three different ways to straighten grain.
