I am currently liquidating a "hoarder's" collection of ephemera, postcards, albums, etc.  Please see other auctions!
Up for auction is a great cabinet photo album consisting of 42 cabinet photos and 1 cdv.    The album is full of great cabinet cards of a group of young girl friends posing in various artistic scenes.  There are Orientalist images, images of the girls as marble statuettes, an Easter group photo of the girls in an egg, a windy scene of an inverted umbrella and a flying bonnet, an image of a girl painting a "marbleized" friend, etc..etc...etc...  Other images of groups of young men who I assume are classmates, family members, etc.  As stated, the pictures have studio marks of photographers in Trenton and Jamestown, including Graham and Cropper.   Other images throughout the album are of other interesting individuals.   Many of the cards have penciled identifications on the backs, including Anna Carnes, Mabel Rockwell, Alice Nolcote, etc..., as well as dates from the 1800's.    Each of the individual images have monetary value alone, but it would be a shame to break up the collection.
The velvet covers for the album are present, as well as the metal locking mechanism.  The spine cover is present, and the pages are intact.  One interior page has broken in half, and some of the pictures have scratches/handling wear.  Little value, if any, should be placed on the album itself.
Opening bid is .80, so everyone gets a chance.  Shipping is per USPS priority mail.
