Title:Antique Photo Album
Description:
Presented for your consideration is this antique photo album. The album contains 35 CDV photographs of different individuals. The photographs are all of portraits and one shows a child on a larger sized rocking horse. Another shows the famous General Winfield Scott and another shows Abraham Lincoln. One of the photographs shows a Civil War soldier that appears to be wounded as there is wrapping around his waist and some kind of object runs through his body. Unsure as to what the object is. The individual is identified as General H.A. Barmann. Most of the photos are not identified but there are a few that have names written on them. One name is difficult to make out but the others appear to read David W. Lorrie, and Samuel Roor. Most of the photographers are from the Albany, NY, Boston, or Kalamazoo, MI areas. All of the images are crisp and clear with bold tones. The photos are contained in the pages of the album and store inside of paper sleeves on thick cardboard pages. The photo album itself has a brown leather cover with a beautiful raised diamond design on the front and back covers and gold gilt lettering on the spine. It is finished with two brass clasps on the side. This nice photo album would make a great addition to any
photograph memorabilia or photo album collection!
The front cover is beginning to separate from the spine and is torn along the spine edge. Back cover is loosening at one end. Some light to mild wear is on the covers. Photos appear to be free of damage. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 6 1/4" long, 5 1/8" wide and 2" thick.
