Felt Hoop Tape 1.5" x 48"
Use Felt Hoop Anti-Hotspot tape for applying to steel, aluminum, or timber greenhouse framework. This tape provides a soft barrier between framework and the poly film, substantially extending film life. By reducing abrasion and excessive temperature at the frame/film contact points, both extended film life and reduced maintenance of covers can be expected. The quality materials used ensure a long and cost effective service life.
Additional Information
White felt component. A 100% UV stable white 'upper' felt that withstands mold and rot degradation. The felt includes a hot-melt bond fiber, providing it with extra stability. It resists "prilling" and movement even under heavy cover abrasion conditions.
Adhesive contact. A highly aggressive acrylic compound adhesive that adheres readily to aluminum, steel and timber frame work. This particular adhesive has excellent resistance to temperature and moisture fluctuation while also performing well when exposed to UV light.
Proven to last and perform. Tape is the chosen frame guard tape used by Grower's Solution and other commercial greenhouse manufacturers. It has been proven to last and perform for many years. Felt Hoop Tape is a preventative maintenance product that is an integral component in any greenhouse re-skinning work.
