The obverse face of this round features the side profile of a Buffalo (said to be motivated by a Buffalo in New York City’s Central Park Zoo named Black Diamond).
The reverse is what gave the Indian Head Nickel its iconic name; it shows a solemn looking Native American Chieftain – staring into the distance. Additionally, imprinted on the right of this image is the word ‘Liberty.’
Each round is made from 1 troy ounce of pure 0.999 Silver (Ag) or greater. The mint may vary, however, these will be NEW PURE Silver Buffalo rounds.
