Please email with any questions. Group of 4 unposted postcards and one card postmarked 1929 advertising Marshall Field in Chicago. I think the 4 unposted cards were printed around the time of the `1933-34 Chicago World's Fair. Unposted cards have sepia photos that show escalator in the South State building, Narcissus Fountain Room on the 7th floor of the North Wabash Avenue building, rotunda with the Tiffany mosaic dome, State Street entrance. The 1929 postcard is slightly larger than the other cards and has a b&w photo of the north rotunda. Slight wear to corners, clean, no creases. Sorry to say that we will not see extravagant retailing of this kind in the future and we should treasure the grand stores that remain.
