This kit fits FMX4 series magneto models with the newer style FLAT SIDED GEAR only!  (See smaller gear in images)
This is the drive gear for the newer style FM-X4B16,  X4B16  and other X4 series magneto models.
Fiber gear replaces Fairbanks Morse part number:   Y5939 (fiber gear)
Q5952 (steel flat sided gear)

For engines equipped with Fairbanks Morse FMX4 series magnetos with FLAT sided gear only.
Please Note The Pictures Representing Correct Timing:
The fiber gear has the letters "C"  and "A" embossed into the gear.  The "C" represents clockwise rotation and "A" anti clockwise rotation.
The mark on the rotor gear must mesh BETWEEN the "C" mark of the fiber distributor gear

Note:  You MUST make sure that you identify that your magneto is a Fairbanks Morse FMX4 style magneto that is specific for the use for the parts noted above.
