Surfing poster 24x36 Mechanix Surf and Street John 'The Terminator' Parmenter. John Parmenter, 'Parmy' or 'Bam Bamm', hailed from San Luis Obispo County and was a late 80s legend at Huntington Beach and Big Sur. In 1988 he was ranked fifth on the PSAA Tour, and his image was common in the surf magazines of that era. Champion of the 1985 Bud Pro Tour, Nicknamed 'the terminator', he once allegedly punched a seal in the face while out in the lineup. Mechanix Surf and Street was a brand of surfing and skateboarding related clothing line, but also sold skateboards under this moniker in the late 80s and early 90s. Poster is in great shape, tack pinholes in all four corners. Thanks for looking, I hope this finds a great new home!
