    Description

Antique Victorian era photo album with chromolithograph print under celluloid of two cherubs holding floral garlands. The print is famed with metal ormolu in a pretty pattern. The corners on the cover are highlighted with large pieces of ormolu. The cover displays beautifully. Take close a look at all 12 photos because they are the best part of the description. The album was originally trimmed with velvet. The nap of the velvet is now mostly worn away, however that does not detract from the antique look of the album. The back side still has some of the nap. Only part of the clasp remains as shown. The binding needs to be reattached. The inside pages are not in great condition. There are numerous tears from photos being removed. There are 16 pages. There are still some photos in the album, I photographed several of them, there are approx. a half a dozen cabinet cards and some smaller misc. photos. The album measures approx. 11" X 9" and the spine is approx.2" wide. I continue the great closet cleaning project, so keep checking back I am always adding clothing as well as some random household decorator items, some collectables and antiques, holiday decorations and anything else that finds it way into my path. I do accept returns, but please ask questions before bidding to save everyone time and money. Buyer pays return shipping unless item is grossly misrepresented. I do not determine the shipping cost. I enter the weight into the shipping calculator and the charge is then determined by the shipping destination. I offer Priority, First Class (items under 16 Oz's.) as well as Standard Shipping, please note that if you decide to go with First Class or Standard Shipping sometimes the post office uses contract transportation and the tracking number can go off the grid until the package arrives back into the postal system. I have never had anything lost, although Standard Shipping is not as reliable, but can be noticeably less expensive. I do not charge a handling fee. I have a smoke free and pet free home. If for any reason you have a concern or problem with your purchase, PLEASE contact me before leaving neutral or negative feedback or anything less than a five star rating, it affects my seller fees. I want the opportunity to solve any problems and make the transaction a positive experience for both parties. Thanks for looking INTERNATIONAL BUYERS. The Global Shipping program can be very expensive. I am able to ship to many countries without using it at a reduced cost using First Class International shipping. If you are interested in this option, please contact me to see if I can ship to your country and what the cost will be.
