VINTAGE 1990'S KMART COFFEE MUG FROM HRADEC KRALOVE, CZECH REPUBLIC XLNT

Description

Condition is perfect on this ceramic coffee mug that was given out to officials and customers during the opening of a Kmart store in Hradec Kralove, Czechoslovakia in the early 1990's.  The mug stands about 3.5 inches tall, with logo on two sides, and is marked on the bottom "Victoria Porcelaine De Boheme".
After having operated Kmart stores in Canada, Australia and New Zealand for many years the company made the decision in the early 1990's to expand to more countries.  The company bought 13 stores from the Czechoslovakian government after communism fell.  Shortly thereafter the Czechs and Slovaks formed there own countries and the stores were operated in both until they were sold in the late 1990's.
