263.  VINTAGE 1930'S PHOTO ALBUM "CCC MEMORY BOOK" ~ HAS SNAPSHOTS OF CCC CAMP, PEOPLE, WILDLIFE, AND SURROUNDING LANDSCAPE

SELLER'S NOTE
:  A very interesting album kept by a Dayton, Ohio man during his time in the Civilian Conservation Corps.  While none of the photos have identifications, a few have developer stamps from Minneapolis, MN.; thus, it is thought that these were taken at a Minnesota CCC Camp.
DESCRIPTION
:
Vintage photograph album, item has brown cardboard covers with gold printing and raised decoration on front cover, black paper pages are bound on left sides by cord, inside pages have many black-and-white photos of men at a Minnesota (?) CCC camp, also photos of surroundings (barracks, mountains, wildlife, a forest fire), seller could not find any photo identifications, album contains 60 photos on 19 pages, and this item dates from the 1930's.
MEASUREMENTS
:
This item measures 7-1/4 x 11-1/4 x 3/4 inches; photos range in size from 1-1/2 x 2 inches to 5 x 7 inches.
CONDITION
:
The outside covers have lots of wear with visible scuffs, small scratches, many creases, small folds, edge wear, small white spots on back cover, and small edge tears
.  There is some fraying of the cord that holds the album together.
The pages inside have light creases, some have small tears from old photo corners being removed (mostly on backs), some pages are dusty, and other pages have small corner folds and edge tears.  Some of the photos have been trimmed, have light creases and folds, light stains, some silvering, and yellowing due to age.
