Description
If you're into fashion history, this is a really cool piece to own and frame. It is a 4-page pamphlet created by the iconic Singer Company showing what to expect for the Fall Fashions in 1963.The pamphlet goes into the trends and includes renderings so you can visualize what was coming on to the fashion scene. The first page is an overview, page 2 goes into coats and suits, page 3 is dedicated to dresses and page 4 includes formal evening wear, fabrics and color. Each page is 8.5" x 11". No binding. It is just folded. It is printed in black, white and shades of
burgundy
on paper stock.
On the back, the bottom right includes information about the publication including "The Singer Company, No. 8 Fall 1963 - Printed in U.S.A."
I have a couple of other things I'll include:
-a pamplet on Pressing your Wool Wardrobe
-The Secret of Gussets booklet (fold in the center)
-A pamplet distributed by the North Carolina Agricultural Extension Service that teaches you how to make Bound Buttonholds. (front bottom right corner has bend and darkening.)
All look like they're in the same era.
If you have any questions, please ask. I'd be happy to clarify. Thank you for looking!
