    Description

    ANTIQUE Trade Card Advertising from the Millinery Goods Department of Dives, Pomeroy & Stewart Store (Reading PA).  The advertisement features a B&W real photo of a lady wearing "The Hollywood Hat", which was made of black silk velvet trimmed with satin ribbons & fine Ostrich (made in the store).  The price of this fine hat was .95.  Card dates to the Fall/Winter of 1894-5.  On the back of the card, the Millinery Goods Department describes the prices of their Mourning Millinery (hats, bonnets, veils).  Card measures approximately 4.5x6.5 inches.  GOOD vintage condition, but some age wear & stains.  It's 120 years old!  ANY ??s, send me an e-mail.  Good luck to everyone!
